A high resolution of 160 x 120 px, the creation of thermal images and the precise temperature measurement make the FLIR E5-XT a very cost-effective inspection tool for professional use.

Simple operation and handling

The FLIR Systems Ex-series is perfect for beginners due to its self-explaining handling. The lens is fixed and focus-free. Therefore, it is not necessary to make complex adjustments in order to receive high quality images and satisfying results. Simply navigate through the menu by using intuitive buttons below the screen. Using the FLIR E5-XT, IR-inspections are a piece of cake!

FLIR E5-XT camera with MSX® image optimization

As full-featured thermal imaging tool, the FLIR Ex-series is provided with the unique MSX® image optimization technology developed by FLIR. This technology combines the images of the daylight camera and of the infrared camera. Thereby, the software creates a genuine thermal image which in detail shows exactly where particular temperature patterns such as hot or cold spots are.

Ideal tool for working on the go

Up to 4h battery runtime make long time recordings with the FLIR E5-XT possible. You are also able to work for a longer period of time without having to interrupt your inspection due to an empty battery. Furthermore, the FLIR E5-XT offers protection class IP54, meaning that the housing of the IR camera is dust-, splashed-, and shockproof and withstands falls up to 2m. Thanks to its compact size and light weight of 0.575 kg, the thermal imaging camera can be easily carried in a belt pouch.
The wi-fi connectivity of the FLIR E5-XT allows you to share your images on a smartphone or tablet via FLIR Tools® App, enabling you to make critical decisions faster.
Another aspect making the E5-XT portable is the fact that you can transfer the data without much effort via micro USB to any PC or Mac. Since the standard image format is JPEG, any normal device is able to open and show them.
